I have watched the excellent series, Shadow of the Tower and want to know if anyone is interested in starting a thread on it here?. Normally the 1400's isn't my era of history I am a 17th century enthusiast who seems to be finding the early Tudors inescapable towards understanding the Stuarts. Indeed in the film 'Cromwell' I notice the portrait of Edward the fourth, or at least what seems to be in one scene behind Alec Guiness as the King. Henry VII was NOT a Plantagenet, for all it's other inaccuracies at least it got this right!. This is a truly magnificent series anyone interested in Henry and his queen should have it off by heart in my opinion. An ideal companion to our 17th century 'by the sword divided' and with as many political twists and turns.

I loved this series when it was first broadcast and have recently acquired the DVD. I haven't got round to watching it yet. I loved James Maxwell in the part of Henry. I understand he had some interactions with a ghost.

Hiya Jasmine. I haven't seen it for a while but I don't think it'd a ghost, rather a heretic you're referring to? I loved this series when it was first broadcast and have recently acquired the DVD. I haven't got round to watching it yet. I loved James Maxwell in the part of Henry. I understand he had some interactions with a ghost.
