Bore Da, Good day, My name is Edward Tudor, born in Llanllwchaiarn, Montgomeryshire, currently living in Guildford in Surrey. I am married and have two sons, Sebastian Tristan Henry Tudor and Owain Arthur Augustus Tudor. I have a sister, Mary Tudor and cousins whose surname is Stuart. I suppose my interest in the Tudors is obvious. Henry VII and Jasper are the Tudors who interest me most. I don't understand Richardians. Who else had the means motive and opportunity to murder the Princes in the Tower. I sing with London Welsh Male Voice Choir and London Welsh Rugby Club Choir. I have even written a novel based in 1400 just as Owain Glyn Dwr declared himself Prince of Wales www.amazon.co.uk/Message-Delayed-Tales-Welsh-Marches/dp/1434306712www.edward-tudor.co.uk/ I do talks on castles in the Welsh Marches, mainly to Welsh Societies. Hi! I'm Susan Higginbotham (I signed in as boswellbaxter because I'm wedded to using that name in fora), and I'm interested in medieval and Tudor history, although I'm currently straying into the American Civil War. I've published historical fiction set in medieval and Tudor England, and my latest book is a nonfiction account of the Woodville family. Looking forward to some sensible discussion about Henry VII and his times.

Hello to all, I'm Jess from Massachusetts. Reading Alison Weir's "The Life of Elizabeth I" fueled a passion to learn more about the Tudors as well as Elizabeth herself. I've had a thing for ancient Rome for awhile now but also love Medieval and Victorian/Edwardian time periods. The more I learn the more I realize there is so much more to discover!

Hi, Jess. That is one of the books I read and loved. Then the Tudor show got me interested in more, and it was like I just fell into a wonderful rabbit hole filled with adventures, intrigue, romance, as well as history. I do prefer historical fiction that I will follow up with a non fiction afterwards. I have found that true life stories are far more interesting than any plain fiction. I feel like these lives lived has provided us with such a wealth of information and story telling pleasure. I only wish I could thank the countless souls that participated in these times for their legacy. Oh, wouldn't it be great to be able to speak to them? Nice to meet you

Lori, it's great to meet you too! Historical fiction is a great way to inspire research into a whole story, especially if you're the curious type like myself. My imagination ceases to ponder what it would be like to meet these legends or live in those times; oh the questions I would ask!! If you haven't heard of "The Raucous Royals" the blogger has a section on Showtime's The Tudors called "The Tudors, Historical vs. Hollywood" where she covers season 3 and some of 4. I wish she were able to cover all seasons since it is fantastic but I'll take what I can get lol. blog.raucousroyals.com/search/label/Showtime%20The%20TudorsAlso if you like lectures Gresham College has some Tudor History ones www.gresham.ac.uk/category/lecture-categories/history/tudor-historyI had to organize all my History bookmarks because I have so many from media, to blogs, to awesome sites like this one! It's so great to get to have discussions and share with other history enthusiasts

Once again, I have new things to look at! I wanted to mention that when I got to the end of Elizabeth I, the 2005 one, when they showed the secret compartment on Elizabeth's ring, I bust out crying! Caught me off guard the emotion that hit me, because that fact of her mother Anne's portrait being in there. It was the very first thing I put on my Pinterest account. When that scene was played, the women said " it's the whore",. I know that was added for drama, but I just started crying. Wow. Wanted to share. Off to the next movie of the night!

Hi everyone I am Tawny from Colorado. I love all thing Medieval/Historical. My interest in the Tudors runs in the question of being a descendant of Henry VIII. Even if I am not the family line and the history of the Tudors is very interesting.

Hi my name is Olga and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am pretty new to English medieval history, I've been reading steadily for just over 2 years now, and I have started working backwards from Henry VIII and am trying to concentrate on the Wars of the Roses at the moment. I run a little online magazine with my partner nerdalicious.com.au/ where we discuss mainly pop culture, although I write some history articles and interview historians as regularly as I can.

Hi Olga! I just wanted to say I did the same thing as you. I went backwards from Henry VIII, then got lost for many months on The Wars of the Roses. It was a like solving a puzzle, getting it all figured out. Just wish I had people to talk about it with here at home. I did have my grand daughter help me make the family tree on poster board, and she even said it was interesting! I absolutely love learning all this..Went back now to Henry II and working forward again now.
