'The Making of the Tudor Dynasty' by Ralph Griffiths and Roger Thomas
Probably the book that really got me hooked on Henry Tudor, the book focuses on the early Welsh history of the family and their rise from Welsh gentry to Kings of England, with particular focus on the Wars of the Roses and the Breton Exile of the 15th Century. An easy to read albeit academic book, I urge everyone to read this book to gain an insight into the origins of the family.
Amazon states;
"An authoritative account of the origins of one of the most popular dynasties in history"
Short but sums it up perfectly.
