I have been reading alot of historical fiction for the past year, as well as some non-fiction books on Kings & Queens, and the Wars of the Roses. I especially enjoy Facebook posts leading to the articles that people write. I think I follow my Historical Pages much more than any friends. Anyway, I am now reading " The Devil's Brood, by Shannon Kay Pennman. I am about halfway through. I saw " Lionheart" at the library, that looks good too. I have " The Six Wives of Henry VIII" by Alison Weir, and " The Tudors" by C.J. Meyers. I have so many books, I could spend all my time just reading if I could. Time to get back to "The Devil's Brood" it is quite a big book. Happy Reading, friends!

From Amazon
"In this gripping tale of passion, politics and conflict, King Henry II finds himself brutally betrayed by his wife Eleanor and three eldest sons when they enter into a rebellion against him. Aligning themselves with Henry's most bitter enemy, King Louis of France, their treacherous actions will have devastating consequences as they bring about the downfall of a brilliant man and a powerful empire.
In Devil's Brood, the compelling story of Henry and Eleanor's once great love affair is explored in an uniquely vivid way. What twists of fate turn love to hatred? What points of principle and ambition cause these two icons to struggle for power, leaving their family tragically divided and their turbulent marriage finished in all but name?"
I personally can't claim to be any big lover of Fiction but certainly sounds interesting! Hopefully people will be along soon to discuss it with you!
